Explanation:

The presidential campaign of 1896 was one of the most exciting in American history. The central issue was the country’s money supply. An economic depression had begun in 1893, and public opinion—and even the Democratic Party—was split between those who favoured the gold standard and those who favoured free silver, a type of currency inflation, to help alleviate the depression. Most Republicans, as well as Democratic supporters of Pres. Grover Cleveland, were in favour of the gold standard. Southern and western Democrats and Populists (also known as the People’s Party)—many of them farmers who were suffering financially—vied for free silver, which ultimately helped bring those two parties together.

What does Luther say happens to a person’s sins when he or she dies?
Paul [167]

Answer with Explanation:

Before Luther's Reformation, he thought that a person's sins could deny him of his salvation when he dies. It was also a proof that he wasn't faithful or loyal enough to the Lord.

However, such conviction of his changed after witnessing some events. He questioned the Pope's ability to set the Christians free from suffering. With this, he realized that<em> sin was not a moral failure.</em> People have been born in order to die and for him, this is the meaning of "sin." In order not to lose in the battle of death, one must be <u>"baptized."</u> This is the option given by God to humans.

Thus, this explains the answer.

Amendment V. Then describe three present-day situations where this law might give a citizen important protections from a potenti
adoni [48]
One situation would be the double-jeopardy. It is a situation when the country wants to put you on trial multiple times. According to the fifth amendment, a federal court can't put you on trial multiple times for the same offense. This is done to prevent having the federal court put you on trial until the jury decides that you're guilty. If a case is acquitted then there can be no retrial.

Another situation is self-incrimination. If you know what you've done or haven't done and you don't want to talk about it then you don't have to talk about it. The amendment protects you from having to divulge information that might incriminate you even further. It is your right to remain silent.

Another situation is having a grand jury. Only a grand jury may indict a person. In a real life situation, a court might decide to decide that you're guilty and punish you without a jury in case you were a political opponent or something similar. This is unconstitutional and illegal and the fifth amendment protects you from it.
