Answer:

A) three-fourths of a number plus two

Step-by-step explanation:

To find out what the answer is, we first need to translate the sentence into numbers, which will give us:

\frac{3}{4}x+2

We can see that we are multiplying an unknown number, x, by three fourths, so we know that we are taking three-fourths of a number, and we also know that we are then adding two. We are not dividing or subtracting, so we know it can't be  B or D. We also know that we are multiplying three-fourths by x, not two so we know that it can't be C. So our only option is A, So the correct answer is:

A) three-fourths of a number plus two

Answer:

Three-fourths of a number plus two

Step-by-step explanation:

The value "x" is  used in algebra to mean a value that is not yet known.

Remember the algebraic expression is: 3/4x + 2

Lets break each possible answer down,

<em>1. The quotient of four-thirds and two is:  </em>4/3 ÷ 2

<em>2. The product of three-fourths and two is:  </em>3/4 * 2

<em>3. The difference between three-fourths of a number and two is:</em>

3/4x - 2

None of these expressions match 3/4x + 2, which brings us to the last answer.

<em>4. Three-fourths of a number plus two </em>is:  3/4x + 2

Notice, "x" is represented as "<em>of a number</em>", since the value is unknown.

Therefore, your answer is A, three-fourths of a number plus two.

The bisector of angle APQ passes through O and this is illustrated below.

<h3>How to illustrate the information?</h3>

From the information given, the center is O. and the circle passes through O and cuts at K.

In this case, it should be noted that the circles are equal according to the SAS test.

Here, AOB + APQ = 180° (Linear pair)

2AOB = 180

AOB = 90.

Therefore, the bisector of angle APQ passes through O.

Grade 7 Need help with proportions (PICTURE INCLUDED)
jeka57 [31]
What you are doing with proportions most the time is solving for a variable which in this example I will use an x. You have to do something called cross multiplying. now look at number 21. when you cross multiply you multiply the number of the top part of the fraction on the left side to the bottom part of the fraction on the right side. In that example 1 × 36 = 36. now write 36 = 16x since you have to cross multiply the other parts of the fraction. Then you would divide both sides of the equation by 16. I will make a mixed fraction for this example. 2 4/16 which simplified equals 2 1/4
