It’s much easier to do 5x2 which is 10 and then multiply 10x98. It’s much harder to do 5x98 and then multiply that big number by 2.

100 - 12.5% × 100

(1 - 12.5%) × 100

(100% - 12.5%) × 100

87.5% × 100

87.5 ÷ 100 × 100

Is the point (3, 11) a solution for the linear equation 1/3x + y = 12? Explain.
PtichkaEL [24]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  yes

Step-by-step explanation:

The point is on the line.

The coordinate values satisfy the equation:

  1/3x + y = 12

  1/3(3) + 11 = 12 . . . substitute for x and y

  1 + 11 = 12 . . . . . . . true

Any point that satisfies the equation is a solution. (3, 11) is a solution.

Practice another write the function in terms of unit step functions. find the laplace transform of the given function. f(t) = t,
balu736 [363]

Using the Laplace transform to solve the given integral equation  f(t) = t, 0 ≤ t < 4 0, t ≥ 4 is \frac{4(1-2e^-5s)/}{s}

explanation is given in the image below:

Laplace remodel is an crucial remodel approach that's particularly beneficial in fixing linear regular equations. It unearths very wide programs in var- areas of physics, electrical engineering, manipulate, optics, mathematics and sign processing.

The Laplace transform technique, the function inside the time domain is transformed to a Laplace feature within the frequency area. This Laplace function could be inside the shape of an algebraic equation and it may be solved without difficulty.
