The purpose of the selma march was to campaign for
Vilka [71]

Answer:

Voting rights for African Americans

Explanation:

The march was conducted in 1965, when protesters conducted a protest walk from Selma, Alabama  to Montgomery. The purpose of the march is to protest racial injustice in united states and demanded the government to allow the african Americans to exercise their right to be involved in the democracy. (at that time they were already allowed to vote, but the government still created some barriers that prevent them to do it)

This march lead to the creation of the voting rights act 1965, which designed specifically to address those voting barriers.

Former legislators, former legislative aides, along with former governors and gubernatorial aides are all forbidden by the Texas
MaRussiya [10]

Answer:

True, as a result of the view that, the lobbying carried out by the former legislators, former legislative aids along with former governors might create an avenue whereby corruption can crop up which would affect the credibility of the election.

For example, a former governor might lobby the state executive agency like those in charge of investigating corruption. This would prevent corruption charges to be brought against the state governor from being investigated adequately.

Kate is having problems understanding the concepts in her sociology class. She goes to see her professor during his office hours
natulia [17]

Answer:

Problem-focused coping

Explanation:

According to studies conducted by psychologist Richard S. Lazarus, it can be said that he would consider what Kate is doing as Problem-focused coping. This term refers to an action or behavior undergone by an individual aimed at fixing a stressful situation or changing the source that is causing the event to become stressful. Which is basically what Kate is trying to accomplish by studying with her friends and seeing the professor after class to better understand the frustrating concepts that she did not understand in class.
