I think they are different in that they have jaws. Rays are predominantly marine and are found in all the oceans. Many are slow-moving bottom dwellers. They include, Manta ray which is one of the most known type of rays, Spotted eagle ray (pacific ocean), sting ray among others. They are about 15 types of rays in the oceans. Sharks, Lampreys and rays, like all fishes they are aquatic, water-breathing vertebrates with a brain and spinal cord, fins, plate-like pairs of internal gills, and paired sense organs.

A woman with a straight hairline has as child with a man who is heterozygous
Naddika [18.5K]

Answer:

aa

Explanation:

A widow's peak is the dominant genotype so one must not have that trait. If it was presented then the woman would have the genotype.

A widow's peak is dominant so the man would be either AA or Aa. Since it stated that his is heterozygous (Hetero meaning two different), his genotype would be Aa (again since a widow's peak is the dominant, it only needs one dominant genotype)

How could mould growing on a tomato that is sitting on a countertop be used as evidence for the spontaneous generation theory
Ilya [14]

Mould growing on a tomato that is sitting on a countertop be used as evidence for the spontaneous generation theory.

What do you mean by spontaneous generation theory?

According to the hypothesis of spontaneous generation, the emergence of life things from nonliving materials was both common and predictable. It was proposed that some forms, like fleas, may develop from inanimate substances like dust or that maggots could develop from decomposing human flesh.

In addition to causing postharvest rot during harvest and storage, a gray mold of tomatoes can also spread a number of other diseases, such as damping off and blight. A fungus with a host range of over 200 plants causes gray mold on tomato plants. It will be evidence for spontaneous generation theory.

Explain how mRNA is formed from the DNA template.
muminat

Answer:

mRNA is “messenger” RNA. mRNA is synthesized in the nucleus using the nucleotide sequence of DNA as a template. This process requires nucleotide triphosphates as substrates and is catalyzed by the enzyme RNA polymerase II. The process of making mRNA from DNA is called transcription, and it occurs in the nucleus.
