Answer:

The disadvantage that hindered the Mexican army is that they were not prepared for the San Jacinto battle.

The battle of the San Jacinto began when the Texans fires their cannons into the Mexican camp, rushed in and fought the surprised and unprepared Mexicans in hand to hand combat.

The victory of the Texans gives them the independence from Mexico and also opened the door for the continued westward expansion of the United States.

Therefore, in conclusion, the disadvantage that hindered the Mexican army is that they were not prepared for the San Jacinto battle.

Wgat is one reason that japan has such a distinctive culture?
kherson [118]
One reason why Japan has such a distinctive culture is because it was closed off from the world from 1623 to 1641. The Tokugawa Shogunate closed Japan because they were afraid of all the new ideas and cultures that came from trading. Because of this period of isolation, Japan created their own unique culture without being influenced by any western ideas.
Hope this helps! Please let me know if I'm wrong :)
