The following is an exerpt from “Finding The Titanic“
(from Planet-Science.com)
”The traditional way to search for wrecks was to use sonar. Sonar uses sound to detect objects underwater. As well as using sonar, Ballard searched for the Titanic's trail of debris. He estimated that it would be over 2km long. Ballard had just 12 days to find it, in an area of ocean five times the size of New York.
To find the trail, Ballard used a deep-sea vehicle called Argo. Argo had lots of cameras and was towed behind the ship. Argo floated just above the sea floor, 2.5 miles down in the cold, dark Atlantic.
After days of searching, Ballard found the trail. He knew the currents would take the trail northwards. Ballard followed the trail and sailed right up to the Titanic!”
Jack Hanna is in favor of raising animals in zoos and aquariums, contrary to the opinion of Dr. Jane Goodall who believes they should be released into the wild.
We can arrive at this answer because:
- Jack Hanna says he admires Dr. Jane Goodall's stance and her ability to change her mind when she recognizes that she is wrong.
- But he disagrees with her position in advocating that animals raised in captivity, in aquariums, and zoos be released into the wild.
That's because, for him, these animals have resources that they would not find in nature, in addition to living in safety and away from the dangers that wildlife offers.

In "The Return of a Private" when Edward Smith praises his wife's biscuits, he is really praising her.
Hamlin Garland writes about the tenderness between Edward and Emma Smith by depicting a deeper connection between the two characters. The clearest example of this comes when Edward praises Emma by praising her biscuits.
