I don’t get why everyone is laughing.. but it’s in past tense since they are getting banned, or banned by now probably. That’s an interesting question

nata0808 [166]

Answer:

D sqrt( A ) sqrt(pi) / pi = r

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a circle is given by

A = pi r^2

To find r

Divide each side of the equation by pi

A / pi = pi r^2 /pi

A / pi =  r^2

Take the square root of each side

sqrt(A / pi )= sqrt( r^2)

sqrt(A / pi )= r

We do not like leaving square roots in the denominator, so multiply by sqrt(pi)/sqrt(pi))

sqrt(A / pi ) *sqrt(pi)/sqrt(pi))

sqrt( A ) sqrt(pi) / pi = r

Which has the greater area: a 6 6‐centimeter by 4 1 2 412‐centimeter rectangle or a square with a side that measures 5 5 centime
Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

The square with side 5 centimeters have a greater area.

Corrected question;

Which has the greater area: a 6‐centimeter by 4.12‐centimeter rectangle or a square with a side that measures 5 centimeters?

Step-by-step explanation:

The Area of a rectangle can be written as;

Area A = length × breadth

Given;

Length = 6 cm

Breadth = 4.12 cm

Substituting the values;

Area of rectangle = 6cm × 4.12cm = 24.72 cm^2

For the square;

Area of a square = length × length

Given;

Length = 5 cm

Substituting the values;

Area of the square = 5cm × 5cm = 25 cm^2

Since 25 cm^2 is greater than 24.72 cm^2

The square has a greater area.

Question 4 please provide explanation for question
Artist 52 [7]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to find a equation that is where the domain is all real numbers and the range is all real numbers greater than -3

  • A square root function cannot equal to all real numbers because we cant take the square root of a negative number. so B and C are already wrong.
  • A cubic function range is all real numbers. so y can be greater than -3 but it would also include. values lesser than -3. so D is Wrong.

A is right, the domain of a absolute value function is all real numbers. The range of a absolute value is all numbers greater than or equal to zero but if we subtract 3, it changes into all real numbers greater than or equal to -3
