The First Amendment provides: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” These two clauses are referred to as the “establishment clause” and the “free exercise clause.” As with that part of the First Amendment which protects freedom of speech, both of these clauses have been applied to the states, and therefore operate against all levels of government in the United States. The free exercise clause protects the religious beliefs, and to a certain extent, the religious practices of all citizens. The more controversial establishment clause prohibits the government from endorsing, supporting, or becoming too involved in religion and religious activities.

1. I believe the answer is: b . Steam Boats

Steam boats are the ships which generated by coal and are not designed to accomodate people (it lack of chairs and beds). But, they are designed to provide large storage room which is perfect for merchants to store large number of goods through waterways.


2.I believe the answer is: a. The cotton gin

The cotton gin does not necessarily useful for communication, but it was the earliest form of technologies/engine that entered united states. The development of cotton gin impacted many inventors to create various machinery, including communication technology, automobiles, etc.

3.I believe the answer is: C. standardized parts and the assembly line

Due to standarized parts and assembly line, companies could separate their worker forces and make them focused on creating one single part before finally combine the parts into one finished product. This method allow companies to mass produce their products in small amount of time.

Due to the massive influx of immigrants that came from south america, Europe, and Asia, United states have massive reserve in labor workers, which povided companies to expand their operation and generate economic growth in the country.

These resources are considered to be cheaper to generate energy compared to other resources. But all of them create more waste that negatively affect our environment. Because of this, more and more companies started to lean to clean energy such as solar or electricity.

Since the cost of production is cheaper, the price of the product when it enter the marker is also cheaper. This make a lot of consumers afford to buy Model T from ford , and allow them to travel to a far distance without using public transportation.

At that time, the midwestern area provided the lowest tax rate for business. Because of this, many manufacturers in the nations were attracted to opened up their operation within the midwest territories, which make them had the largest amount of production in the nation.

Industrialization mainly located on urban areas since these areas located in the center of the states, which make it easier for company's distribution process. Because of this, most of the jobs that exist in the country was heavily located in urban areas and attract massive migration from rural to urban areas.
