While sports teams would cost schools a lot of time and money, I believe that elementary schools should have sports teams, at le

ast for older grades. Schools could work with local professional teams to raise money. Volunteers could coach until the schools can afford to pay coaches. Many parents would be happy to volunteer to get teams started. Team sports help teach children valuable lessons they can use later in life.
What does the author say in the last paragraph that dismisses the other side of the author's argument?
A.
The author says that parents will volunteer to help the teams.
B.
The author explains that many adults are needed for teams.
C.
The author says that sports teams cost a lot of money.
D.
The author says that sports teams take up a lot of time.

Answer: C!

Explanation:

I personally think it is C, just reading through it. It is worded in the rebuttal that even though it may cost a lot of money, they then give ways to where that cost wouldn’t be so great. Thus, concluding my answer as C. Hope that helps ^^

sweet [91]

I believe the answer is B. Not.

a conjunction is a word that connects sentences, phrases, or clauses. The words "but", "yet", and "so" all do that, and therefore, are conjunctions. The only word that isn't a conjunction is "not", so the answer is B. Hope that helps!
