Ok so the ratio from Joe to Sam is 3:11
Joe = 3x while Sam = 11x
So if Joe = 3x = 33 then 3x = 33 and we use the Division POE (Property of Equality) and divide in both sides by 3. 3x/3 = 33/3, x = 11

Now that we know x = 11 we can use it for Sam, 11 x 11 = 121, Sam has 121 and Joe 33

The Question is how much they have in total so we add them, 121 + 33 = 154, *154 is the answer* ;)

3x=33\\
x=11\\
11x=121 \leftarrow \hbox{ Sam's money}\\\\
33+121=\boxed{154 } \leftarrow \hbox{ this much they have together}

I think there are 12 possible outcomes in the sample space. Because if you put one crust with one topping for each crust and topping it equals up to 12.

Suppose the discrete random variable X has the probability distribution below:
Talja [164]

(a) P(X < 3) = P(X = 0) + P(X = 1) + P(X = 2) = 0.11 + 0.52 + 0.19 = 0.82

(b) P(X ≥ 1) = P(X = 1) + P(X = 2) + P(X = 3) + P(X = 4) = 0.52 + 0.19 + 0.12 + 0.06 = 0.89

(c) µ = 0×0.11 + 1×0.52 + 2×0.19 + 3×0.12 + 4×0.06 = 1.5

(d) σ² = (0²×0.11 + 1²×0.52 + 2²×0.19 + 3²×0.12 + 4²×0.06) - µ² = 1.07

σ = √(σ²) ≈ 1.03
