andrezito [222]
The above should be personal vices, and the person who made their decision should be the one that has to deal with the choices they made. As long as they are following other laws that are in place, there is nothing wrong with alcohol use or gambling. As for drug use, the main drug that comes to mind is marijuana, in this case, if the drug helps in assisting MEDICAL NEEDS, or is provided to someone of age who understands the possible consequences, it should be legal.

Which techniques does Alexander Pope use to weave humor into the poem "The R*pe of the Lock"? Explain why the techniques are hum
Jlenok [28]

Answer:

The technique used by Alexander Pope in The R*pe of the Lock is mock-epic genre.

Explanation:

"The Ra-pe of the Lock" is a mock-epic (a technique used by Pope) poem written by Alexander Pope. Pope has written the verse in heroic couplets.

Pope named his poem as "an heroi-comical poem".

Mock-epic is a form of satire in which trivial matters or subjects are dealt in an elevated heroic style. This dealing of the trivial matters in a heroic style creates the humor in this technique of mock-epic. This genre does not mock the epics but rather the subject by giving it a form of epic.

The poem deals with a true incident of trivial matter; the stolen locks of a young woman. Because of this conflict between two families started, which Pope resembled that of the war of Greeks and Trojan.

Why did Lady Macbeth Collapse when she heard the death of Duncan?
Dafna11 [192]
Hope this helps. Lady Macbeth may actually faint in astonishment that her husband has killed the guards in an act that was not part of their plan in murdering Duncan. She could be shocked that he has acted so boldly when she had to question his manhood in order to provoke him to kill the king. On the other hand, she may be faking.
