Answer:

Step 1: simplify  3/4

 (3/4 • a) -  16  = 0

Rewrite the whole as a fraction using  4  as the denominator

16= 16/1 = 16 * 4/4

Combine the numerators together, put the sum or difference over the common denominator then reduce to lowest terms if possible

3a - ( 16 *4 ) / 4 = 3a - 64 / 4

Step  2: 3a - 64 / 4 = 0

When a fraction equals zero ...

Where a fraction equals zero, its numerator, the part which is above the fraction line, must equal zero.

Now,to get rid of the denominator, Tiger multiply's both sides of the equation by the denominator.

3a - 64 / 4 * 4 = 0 * 4

Now, on the left hand side, the  4  cancels out the denominator, while, on the right hand side, zero times anything is still zero.

3a - 64  = 0

Solving Single Variable Equation

Solve  :    3a-64 = 0

Add  64  to both sides of the equation :

                     3a = 64

Divide both sides of the equation by 3:

                    a = 64/3 = 21.333

Identify the factors of 9x2 + 30x + 25.
svlad2 [7]
Selection B is appropriate.

_____
The signs of the coefficients tell you the binomial factors must have both signs positive (selections B and C only). Selection B produces an x-term that is 15x+15x=30x (as we want); selection C produces an x-term that is 45x+5x=50x (not what we want).

Geometry question, someone please help!!!
Rashid [163]

Answer:

(-4,3)

Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio 3:2 means you can divide it into 3+2 parts or 5 parts

To find the x value

-13 and 2 are 15 apart and 15/5=5 so 3(3)=9

so you add 9 to the x value of P so 9+-13=-4 so the x value of Q is -4

so the same for the y value

18 and -7 are 25 apart

25/5=5 so you subtract 5(3)=15 from the y value of P 18-15=3

so the y value Q is 3

so Q is

(-4,3)
