I am pretty sure that the answer is D. The entire sequence of human DNA was identified.

I don't have any evidence that this is the answers, just that while reading my textbook, it said that the project identified the entire sequence of human DNA, so it was pretty much a word for word answer. I hope this helps!!!

In what ways do prevailing winds affect precipitation in a region
BartSMP [9]

Answer:

Prevailing winds influence the precipitation by regulating amount of water vapor in air, direction of wind movement and by making cold and hot air masses to move.

Explanation:

Winds make both hot and cold air masses to move. The hot air rises up with wind and cold air rushes to take its place. The hot air coming from water bodies towards the land carry ample of water vapor and causes precipitation in the region. On the other hand, the air coming from land masses does not have enough water vapor to cause any rains in the region.

Answer the following True or False: A hypothesis test was conducted to see if a new HIV vaccination reduces the risk of contract
Anettt [7]

Answer:

The correct answer is - true.

Explanation:

Type I error occurs when the alternate hypothesis is accepted though it is false. A type II error is the failure to reject a false null hypothesis or an alternative hypothesis is rejected even though it is true.

For instance of type II errors: a blood test designed to detect the disease failing to detect the disease in a patient who really has the disease. In the given case vaccination not approved even though reduce the risk of contracting the HIV virus.

Thus, the correct answer is - true.
