It was a rebirth of classical culture and ideas, a relaxed life where people could think and create marvelous art. ... The renaissance brought about changes in everything in Society including schooling and the arts.
During the renaissance, art, religion, science, technology and philosophy all changed. In art, perspective and porportion made art more realistic looking.
The fall of Rome and the replacement of Rome's empire by an assortment of barbarian and semi-barbarian rulers was certainly a big factor on the development of both feudalism and the monastery system.
