The inaccurate statement that has to do with Texas settlement is that the Spanish began to explore Texas before the first English colony was founded in Virginia.

This is inaccurate because the colonization of Mexican Texas only took place in the year 1821 and 1835. Meanwhile the Virginia settlement was formed in the year 1788.

The Spanish people began to settle around the San Antonio river. This was after the forts had been built.

salantis [7]
In the United States, the only reason slavery was abolished was the Civil War, since up to this conflict the Southern states had refused to limit their ability to use slaves for labor. How did the Congressional response to the Soviet-Afghan War change Americans’ perspectives about the global role of the United S
olga_2 [115]
I believe that the correct answer should be B), because he worsened the relations with the Soviet Union, relations that were much better during the time of previous president, Richard Nixon. It wasn't that much about the Afghan people, since he thought that i posed a""a grave threat to the free movement of Middle East oil". Also, he lost his 1980 election to Ronald Reagan, who promised-and delivered-an even more vigorous anticommunist foreign policy, which is why I strongly believe that the correct answer is B).
