The splendid little war is a nickname given to the spanish-american war
jeka57 [31]

Answer:

The term was coined by U.S ambassador in UK John Hay. Splendid part of that war that lasted two months was unity of American people where Northerners, Southerners, Blacks and Whites fought toghether side by side as one, it is symbolic end of distrusts that last even longer than reconstruction era. John Hay (the United States Ambassador to the United Kingdom), writing from London to his friend Theodore Roosevelt declared that from start to finish it had been "a splendid little war." Few Americans would disagree with that assessment of the Spanish American War. It was short, it accomplished its goals, and it established the United States as an international power.

How did The Mauryan and the Gupta empires lead to the spread of Hinduism and Buddhism
Ede4ka [16]
The Mauryan Empire lead to the spread of Hinduism because it was a major religion at the time and Hindu priests were an important part of the emperor's court. Ashoka, who was a powerful ruler who converted to Buddhism, still had his Hindu priests in his court. He helped the spread of Buddhism as he sent many Buddhist missionaries on trips in hopes of inspiring his people to become Buddhist. He also made a council dedicated to the expansion and reform of Buddhism and many merchants became Buddhist, popularizing it in other locations outside of the Mauryan Empire.
