Answer: 10,500 hits

Step-by-step explanation:

I WANT BIG BRAIN! I WANT BIG BRAIN AHAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

ok there are a number of ways to go about this

it is unclear whether or not the YT content creator will get one pound for 500 hits

i honestly dont know but i am going to assume it will

1000 times 20 (we are plugging in a test variable, 20, here)

so lets say we have 20,000 hits

lets divide that by 1000 and we get 20. 20 times 2 is 40 pounds so obviously thats too much

lets try 1000 times 10

so we have 10 times 2 and thats 20 pounds. we are closer

10,500 hits

(i put in 500 because half of 1000 is 500 and that will give you one pound instead of two)

Each sequence below gives an explicit formula. Write the first five terms of each sequence. Then, write a recursive
Bas_tet [7]

Answer:

The first five values are 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20

The recursive formula is as follow

\left \{ {{a_{1} =12} \atop {a_{n} =a_{n-1} } + 2} \right.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we need to find the first 5 values  we start with n = 1 to n = 5. Note that we don't start from n = 0 as the question states that  n ≥ 1.

For the first 5 values we just replace the value of n with 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 and calculate the answer

a_{1} = 2(1) + 10 = 12\\ a_{2} = 2(2) + 10 = 14\\ a_{3} = 2(3) + 10 = 16\\ a_{4} = 2(4) + 10 = 18\\ a_{5} = 2(5) + 10 = 20

The first five values are 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20

A recursive formula is one that

a) Mentions the initial term

b) provides a formula connecting the previous term to the existing term.

Since we know the first term is 12, i.e a_{1} = 12 and we know that the difference between consecutive terms is 2 we can conclude that the recursive formula is made up of the following two formulas

a_{1} = 12

a_{n} = a_{n-1} + 2

The over all formula is as follow

\left \{ {{a_{1} =12} \atop {a_{n} =a_{n-1} } + 2} \right.

It takes 0.5 gallon of cream to make 1 pound of butter. How much cream would you need to make 2.5 pounds of butter?
Natasha_Volkova [10]
1.25 gallons

so we know 0.5 gallons makes 1 pound, and we know that there are at least 2 pounds of butter made.

so we know that there is 1 full gallon of cream used.

however, there is also .5 pounds of butter, so we need to find out the other half.

to do this, we need to split the .5 gallons of cream in half, making 0.25

then, we add 1 + 0.25 gallons to equal 1.25 gallons of cream needed to make 2.5 pounds of butter
