50

If 10 is 20% of a number, we can multiply it by 5 to get the original number.

So 10 * 5 = 50, and 20% of 50 is 10.

I hope this helps! :)

An account earns annual simple interest. Interest earned: $84 principal:$600 interest rate:7% find the time ?
Helen [10]
Simple Interest , I =  PRT/100

Where P = Principal, R = Rate, T = Time in years

Time, T =    (100*I)/(P*R)

T =  100* 84 / (600 * 7)            Use your calculator

T = 2

Time is 2 years.

If 9:7 is the ratio, there are here 116 more boys than girls how many total students are there
Natali5045456 [20]
Now, let's say there are "b" boys and "g" gals... ok... well, we know there are 116 more boys than gals..... so, if there are "g" gals then there must be "g + 116" boys.

\bf \cfrac{boys}{girls}\qquad 9:7\qquad \cfrac{9}{7}\implies \cfrac{9}{7}=\cfrac{\stackrel{boys}{g+116}}{\stackrel{girls}{g}}\implies 9g=7g+812&#10;\\\\\\&#10;2g=812\implies g=\cfrac{812}{2}\implies g=\stackrel{girls}{406}

what's the total class?  well is g + b or g + ( g + 116).

ella [17]

Answer:The answer is x=84

Step-by-step explanation:

The lines p and f are parallel and t is the transverse line

Here the corresponding angles are equal

i.e. the angle made by the transverse line with each of the parallel line

is equal

So in fig 1 -60

fig 2 -124

fig 3 -135

So x=84 [corresponding angles are equal]

A business owner buys two new office buildings. She pays $635, 895 for one building. She pays $643, 225 for the other building.
Natali5045456 [20]
Part A
From the two buildings she rents, the building costing $643, 225 price is greater than the other that costs <span>$635, 895

Part B
Round to the nearest ten thousand:
</span><span>$635, 895 ~ $640, 000
this is because 5,895 rounds to 6,000, and then this rounds to 10,000

</span><span>$643, 225 ~ $640, 000
</span>this is because <span>43, 225 rounds to 40,000 the nearest ten thousand</span>
