A third persons point of view is when a character is being introduced by their name for example "mark has no idea what you're talking about"

Ethos, logos, and pathos are spelled different. 
Ethos is spirit culture community.
Logos is a word of god.
Pathos evokes pity and sadness.

They all have different meanings so you could use them to make feeling for a character in a story and make the reader feel those emotions.
