You just find out what the missing variable is by subtracting 88 from 107 on the first one. You do the same for the last too as-well, but just insert the numbers that they say.

What is -1/2(-4/5) multiplied then in simplest form?

-1/2(-4/5)

Multiply the numerators by each other and do the same for the denominators.
That is:
-1(-4)=4
And 2*5=10

Now we have 4/10
Divide the numerator and the denominator by 2 to get 2/5 which is the simplest form.
