One early morning I heard a sharp scream. I popped up from my bed and peered over the corner of my doorway hesitantly. Creeping slowly now, I make my way down the steps. One foot in front of the other in shaking anticipation. Finally I have arrived at the bottom of the steps. I'm left in a state of shock when I'm to find the culprit of this piercing noise... my cat eggy tearing into a little mouse. blood gushing everywhere. I never would have guessed that much blood would pour from such a small animal. Nonetheless, I take a sigh in relief that it was only a mouse and not something more gruesome.

Why does kafka choose a cockroach rather than any other insect or animal
krek1111 [17]

the use of an insect is particularly significant because of all the things in this world, the insect is often seen as bothersome, disgusting, and easily squashed. While some people may see value in insects (for pollination, for example), most find them easy to ignore or horrific.

As a child or grandchild, how can you show love to your parents, grandparents while they are still alive?
k0ka [10]
Establishing a bond with grandparents is great for kids in many ways. Grandparents can be positive role models and influences, and they can provide a sense of cultural heritage and family history. Grandparents provide their grandkids with love, have their best interests at heart, and can make them feel safe.

Grandparents also encourage a child's healthy development. Overnight trips to Grandma's house, for example, may be less traumatic than sleepovers with peers and can help kids develop independence. Another benefit — grandparents may have lots of time to spend playing with and reading to kids. Such dedicated attention only improves a child's developmental and learning skills.

Tips for Staying in Touch
In today's world, though, families may be scattered across the country, and jam-packed school and work schedules may interfere with regular time with grandparents. Despite physical distance or busy schedules, you can encourage your kids to develop a closer bond with their grandparents.

Try these tips:

Visit often.
Pass it on.
Chart a family tree.
Call Often.

What is one thing you can look for to determine quickly if a print source may be helpful to you?
marin [14]

Try checking the date, it usually helps. When looking at an out-of-date article, you may find some of the information in it to be incorrect. It is best if you use an up-to-date article or print source for work or essay writing.
