The answer 4 km/s because to find the speed its distance divided by time = speed. So if you take 100/25 and it will equal 4 and the unit measurement will be kilometers per second (km/s). Hope this was helpfull.

The plane flew over a beacon which is 280 miles from bristol. write down the gmt times when the plane flew over the beacon.
eimsori [14]

According to graph, GMT time when the plane flew over the beacon was 9:24.

While looking closely at the graph on x axis , one will notice that each hour is divided into 5 parts and hence each part has 12 minutes. looking at y axis, one may find that each part on y axis resembles 20miles. Hence at 280 miles away from Bristol, The GMT time is 9:24.

What is a graph?

  • In mathematics, a graph is a visual representation or diagram that shows facts or values in an ordered way.
  • The relationships between two or more items are frequently represented by the points on a graph.
  • The study of graphs, which are mathematical constructions used to represent pairwise relationships between things, is known as graph theory in mathematics. Vertices (also known as nodes or points) make up a graph in this sense, which are connected by edges (also called links or lines).
  • Undirected graphs, in which edges connect two vertices symmetrically, are distinguished from directed graphs, in which edges connect two vertices asymmetrically. One of the main topics of study in discrete mathematics is graphs.

The rectangular pyramid below has a volume of 200 m3. What is the height of the rectangular pyramid in meters? If the base is 6
Allisa [31]

Answer:

6.67meters

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for the volume of a rectangular pyramid = Length × Width × Height

From the question

Volume = 200m³

Base of the pyramid = Length × Width = 6m by 5m = 6m × 5m

To find the height of the pyramid = Volume/Length × Width

Height = 200m³/ 6m × 5m

Height = 6.67m

Height of the rectangular pyramid in meters = 6.67 m

Julio bought a total of 20 medium and large pumkins if he spent 53$ and bought 6 more large pumkins as medium pumkins how many l
aksik [14]
L = large pumpkin

m = medium pumpkin

Write a system of equations:

1)   L + m = 20
2)   m = L - 6
3)   $3L + $2m = $53

Substitute L - 6 for m in equation 1:

L + (L - 6) = 20

Add 6 to both sides:

2L = 26
(L + L = 2L)

Divide two on both sides:

L = 13

Julie bought 13 large pumpkins.

Check (use equation 3):

$3(13) + $2(7) = 53
(m = 7 because 20 - 13 = 7)

Multiply:

$39 + $14 = $53       :)

Jess is having a private party at the bowling alley. The party costs $99 plus %3 per person who attends.
lianna [129]

Answer:

Total cost= 99 + 2.97x

Step-by-step explanation:

Giving the following information:

Fixed cost= $99

Variable cost= 3% per person

First, we need to calculate the 3% of 99:

Unitary variable cost= 99*0.03= $2.97

Now, we establish the total cost structure:

Total cost= 99 + 2.97x

x= number of people in attendance

Finally, suppose 200 people attend the party:

Total cost= 99 + 2.97*200

Total cost= $693
