Which of the systems of equations below is equivalent to the system shown?
amm1812

Answer:

D.....is\: the \: equivalent \: system

Step-by-step explanation:

if \to 4x + 5y = 3 \\ if \to 2x + 3y = 1 \\then \\ 2 \times \: 4x + 5y = 3 \\ 4 \times 2x + 3y = 1 \\ 10y - 12y = 6 - 4 \\ - 2y = 2 \\ \boxed{ y = - 1} \\ 4x + 5y = 3 \\ 4x +5( - 1) = 3 \\ 4x - 5 = 3 \\ 4x = 3 + 5 \\ 4x = 8 \\ \boxed{x = 2} \\ hence \: the \: equivalent \: system \: is \to D \\

21 out of 24 students did their homework. What percent did NOT do their homework.
SVETLANKA909090 [29]

If 21 out of 24 students did their homework, 3 out of 24 did not do it.

This written as a fraction is 3/24 and can be reduced to 1/8.

This in decimal form is 0.125 .

To convert the decimal to a percent, multiply by 100 and put a percent sign at the end of the number.

0.125 × 100 = 12.5

12.5%
