What did the government have to do with ww1 and with ww2?
alexgriva [62]

In both wars, the governments of the world had to try to fix the what had been destroyed.

America, on the other hand, had little to no damage in ww1 but had plenty in ww2. They spent most of the time after ww1 partying and making the stock market crash. While after ww2, they tried to get communism out of the new countries.

Explain the developments in europe and africa that led to columbus’s voyage to america.
dezoksy [38]
European powers were running out of places to colonize in africa, while trade in East Asia was becoming more and more profitable, but the cost in time and money of traveling all the way around africa and through the india ocean (or the long trek down the silk road) was hampering European profits off of trading. So the Spanish sent Columbus to find a shorter root to Asia. Columbus didn't set out looking for America, it was just a happy accident.

About how wide and how deep were trenches during this period ?
BaLLatris [955]

Answer:

Not sure about which period you ask, but...

Explanation:

Frontline trenches were usually about seven feet deep and six feet wide. The front of the trench was known as the parapet. The top two or three feet of the parapet and the parados (the rear side of the trench) would consist of a thick line of sandbags to absorb any bullets or shell fragments.
