CR:RB = 2:3
CB:CB = 2:5
AQ:AB=2:5
That means we start at A and go 2/5 along the way toward B to get Q:
Answer: Q=(-2,-4)
If you have a function y = f(x), the transformation along the x-axis is given by:
y = f(x+a) ⇒ This is the translation to the LEFT by 'a' units
y = f(x-a) ⇒ This is the translation to the RIGHT by 'a' units
So you have, f(x) = 5ˣ, translated 4 unit right will give g(x) = 5⁽ˣ⁻⁴⁾
Graphing an inequality is when you shade in the graph based on whether your point that you chose(usually (0, 0)) is true or false when put back in the original equation.
Graphing an equation of a line is just a line on the graph.
For a solid line: the inequality should be greater then or equal to or less then or equal to.
For a dashed line: the inequality should just be greater then or less than.
Hope this helps for your inequality equations :)
