What are the three angle measures in the triangle shown below
sergeinik [125]
B. 31°, 43°, 106°
since all angles of a triangle add up to 180°, you combine all of the equations to equal 180 and solve for X. the equation you would get it 3x+1+11x-4+5x-7=180. this simplifies to 19x-10=180. then you solve for x, and it is 10. then, you plug 10 into all of the equations separately to find the angles. therefore, the answer is B

Which segment is opposite to angle D? DС FC or DF
PIT_PIT [208]

Answer:

The segment opposite to angle D is CF.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find what angle is opposite to a side. All you just have to do is see which segment doesn't touch that angle.  We see that angle D does not touch CF, so angle D must be opposite to CF.

Does anyone know how to do this and if so can you please help me and explain how to do it, it’ll be appreciated thank you
dalvyx [7]

Answer:

13) (5x)^{-\frac{5}{4} ⇒ \frac{1}{\sqrt[4]{(5x)^5}}

15) (10n)^{\frac{3}{2} ⇒ \sqrt{(10n)^3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given expression:

13) (5x)^{-\frac{5}{4}

15) (10n)^{\frac{3}{2}

Write the expressions in radical form.

Solution:

For an expression with exponents as fraction like

(x)^{\frac{m}{n}

the numerator m represents the power it is raised to and the denominator n represents the nth root of the expression.

For an expression with exponents as negative  fraction like

(x)^{-\frac{m}{n}

We take the reciprocal of the term by rule for negative exponents.

So it is written as:

\frac{1}{(x)^{\frac{m}{n}}}

using the above properties we can write the given expressions in radical form.

13) (5x)^{-\frac{5}{4}

⇒ \frac{1}{(5x)^{\frac{5}{4}}}   [Using rule of negative exponents]

⇒ \frac{1}{\sqrt[4]{(5x)^5}}    [writing in radical form]

15) (10n)^{\frac{3}{2}

⇒ \sqrt{(10n)^3}     [Since 2nd root is given as \sqrt{} in radical form]

Urgent! Two questions! (Pre Calc) (30 points)
mina [271]
Problem One
Sin(90 + q) = sin(90)*cos(q) + sin(q)*cos(90)
sin(90 + q) = 1 * cos(q) + sin(q)*0
sin(90 + q) = cos(q)

You can elimate anything beginning with Cos
You can also eliminate the sin function with a minus between it.

Problem 2
Sin(x) = 1/csc(x) That makes C and D incorrect.
Correct answer has to be A. Since this is a multiple choice question you can't qualify the answer, but there are some points that exhibit questionable behavior, like 2 \pi *f*t = 0 for example. The function becomes undefined.
