The site of Abu Simbel is one of the most recognizable ancient sites in Egypt. For 3,000 years, it sat on the west bank of the N

ile River, between the first and second cataracts of the Nile. However, in a remarkable feat of engineering, the temple complex was dismantled and rebuilt on a higher hill to make way for the Aswan High Dam in the 1960s.
In addition, Abu Simbel has a second, smaller, temple that may have been built for queen Nefertari. Its front includes two statues of the queen and four of the pharaoh, each about 33 feet (10 meters) in height. Each is set between buttresses carved with hieroglyphs

Yuki888 [10]
Eugene V. Debs discusses how socialists in the US strive for financial and social equality among all US citizens. Debs describes how American society can be extremely unfair, as some individuals are born into wealthy families and never have to work a day in their life while other individuals work extremely hard their entire lives just to survive.

This is why Debs, and socialists in the US in general, strive for a system in which the government has more control of the means of production and the economy in general. Debs argues that all things in the US are jointly used and that it only makes sense for the government to be involved in making sure these resources are spread out equally to citizens.

William Lloyd Garrison and the American Anti-Slavery Society were known
Vesna [10]

Answer: A) advocating immediate and uncompensated emancipation

Explanation:

The American Anti-Slavery Society was founded by William Lloyd Garrison in 1833 as a society dedicated fully to the Abolitionist cause. They demanded immediate and uncompensated emancipation for all enslaved people and used the Declaration of Independence and the Bible to base their arguments.

Even though they met with a lot of opposition, they still tried their best to get their anti-slavery message across by writing to Congress, publishing journals and other forms of propaganda and even sending people to talk to the public about the horrendous institution that was slavery.
