Reduce! Buy and use less stuff. This is the best way to conserve natural resources. For example, it takes one ton of raw materials from the earth to make one laptop computer! We can also pay special attention to reducing the amount of non-renewable resources we use. For instance, by reducing our use of non-renewable oil and coal to give us energy and electricity, we can make less air pollution. Instead, we can get energy from the sun, the wind and the ocean's tides to heat our homes and light our rooms. These sources of renewable energy don't create pollution and they will never run out! We can also look for different natural resources to use so that we don't use up too much of one kind. For example, we can make tree-free paper out of plants like kenaf, bamboo, and hemp instead of trees! Using tree-free paper is much better for our forests and all the animals that depend on a healthy forest in order to survive.

Cycads and Palm

Explanation:
The resemblance between cycads and palm trees is only superficial
- Cycads are basically woody plants which have roots, a stem, leaves and reproductive structures known as cones
- The main roots of cycads are thickened and fleshy and as they may have storage capacities they are often termed tuberous
- Along with the fleshy stem they may have contractile properties which serve to regulate the level of the stem in the ground
- Specialized, upright-growing, branched roots, known as coralloid roots, are also produced by all species of Cycads
- The stems of cycads may be completely subterranean or emerge from the ground and be trunk-like
- The leaves of most cycads are once-divided (pinnate) and often develop an attractive palm-like crown
- Palm trees are a type of evergreen plant belonging to the Arecaceae family of plants
- Palm trees have branch-less stems and large evergreen leaves
- Generally, leaves of palm trees are either pinnate (feather-like leaves) or palmate (fan-like fronds)
- Another way to identify the type of palm tree is by the trunk shape, some of the tallest species of palm trees have long slender single trunks and dwarf varieties have usually short fat palm trunks
- Some smaller palm tree species may have clustered trunks with 3 or 4 short trunks growing together
- There are also some dwarf palm trees that just have bushy pinnate fronds growing out the ground and don’t have any trunk at all
They provide biomedical and genomic information.
Systems that can store and discharge carbon are known as carbon pools. There are several processes to transform the carbon to change pools. One of them is combustion. When hydrocarbons and biomass are burned, it converts the carbon chemically bound in the biosphere to carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Example:
C3H8 + 5o2 → 3Co2 + 4H2o + heat.
Hormones are called chemical
messenger of the body, which occur in various tissues where they are produce. They
occur in response to specific biochemical signals from a wide range of
regulatory systems and behavioral activities that is vital in the communication
between organs and tissues. Moreover, hormones create a cellular response by
binding to cell membrane or intercellular receptors.
