I don't have the information from the text book but. People might more and more be using clean energy instead of fossil fuel is because fossil fuel is limited. It's a non-renewable, it takes millions of years to form. Also because global warming is making a big impact on our planet, using clean energy instead of fossil fuel can reduce slow green house emission.
