1. As noted, some of Kim Davis’s supporters have compared her to celebrated figures from American history like Rosa Parks who pr

acticed civil disobedience by breaking laws they believed were immoral, unfair, or unjust. What are the similarities and differences in the case of Rosa Parks, who violated the law in Montgomery, Alabama, in 1955 by refusing to move to the “black” section of a public bus, and that of Kim Davis, who has refused to abide by laws established by the U.S. Supreme Court regarding gay marriage? How do the similarities and differences justify or not justify Davis’s actions?

Answer:

Explanation:

The similarities are that both women fought for something they believed were wrong but, the differences being that Rosa was fighting for something that was wrong and that needed to be change which was the freedom of blacks. However, Kim Davis was doing what she did out of spite because she did not believe in gay marriage and that was not right of her and the similarities between her and Rosa Parks did not justify what she did .

I believe what this passage foreshadows is that C. Rome will suffer danger and destruction.
You can see in the excerpt that no good things are happening - there is a fire, and something is burning, and people are afraid - so obviously, it doesn't mean that it is going to prosper or be renewed, when something so terrible is happening. One slave cannot destroy an empire, which is why that is incorrect too.
