If a 9.0-volt battery is placed across a 5.0-ohm resistance, the current will be _____ amperes.
irinina [24]
This is physics, electricity.
I'll break it down for you, very easy:
you have to use the formula V=IR
where V= voltage in volts (V)
I= current in Amperes (A)
R= resistance in ohms (Ω)

so what you require is I, current there you have to rearrange the formula to subject current;
I=V/R
=9/5= 1.8Ω (ans)

What might happen if the gametes of a species had the same number of chromosomes as the species' body cells?

It would had too many chromosomes and die.

Explain why the daughter cells of meiosis are genetically different from each other but the daughter cells produced by mitosis are not.

The daughter cells produced by meiosis are genetically different from each other as they have different gene combinations as a result of crossing over (crossing over being the transfer of genes), Not only that but the random segregation of homologous chromosomes into different cells, whereas the daughter cells produced by mitosis are genetically identical as no recombination or crossing over occur because mitosis is asexual and reproduces itself by itself where meiosis is sexual and needs two parents instead of one.
