(GENERAL QUESTION) The marking period just started and I got a 9/10 points = 90% average on my Social Studies Assignment. I know

from past experience getting back to a 95 (my goal) is already difficult and requires many 10 point assignments (most of my assignments are worth 10 points) . I NEED to get high honor roll (90%+) my grade for the last MP was 98%. I need to not stress about a 90% and know it has time to improve even with those small 10 point assignments. PLEASE HELP

PilotLPTM [1.2K]
During the 1930's Britain and France were too scared to respond to the fascist aggression as they didn't;t want another war ads a. they didn't have enough money as the Great Depression had just hit, b. they didn't have a powerful military as they had destroyed half of there machines and only had a militia around the world to control there colonies franc was mostly the same but it did have a defensive line along the border of France and Germany called the Gustav line but as we know it didn't really work.

How did railroad companies help to encourage settlement of the Great Plains? What other human geographic factors affected settle
kherson [118]

Answer:

Rail road companies facilitated settlement of the Great Plains because it provided a means of transportation for settlers to get to the location. The government had also provided land to these companies which they sold at an affordable cost to the new settlers. The area was a large expanse of flat land making it easy for newcomers to establish agriculture.
