The correct answer is - False.

The Gobi Desert is a vast desert. It occupies part of northern China and the southern part of Mongolia. This desert is the the northernmost desert on the planet. It is part of the cold desert types, and it experiences both summer and winter. The summers are dry and hot, with temperatures around 35 C degrees, while the winters are very cold and dry, with temperatures of even 40 C degrees bellow zero.

Unlike the stereotypical desert, this desert is not covered with sands and sand dunes, but instead it is a rocky desert, covered with rocks of all sizes and shapes.

What type of plate boundary has a lot of seismic activity
Fittoniya [83]
I'd have to say the Southern Eurasian plate and the Western part of "our" North American plate (mainly around California) both have a lot of above sea level activity. The most activity below or right at sea level would possibly be the Philippines plate.
