Answer: My verbal style with children would use simpler words and a more friendly, caring voice. But with senior citizens i would use a more proper and pronounced way of talk along with words that matched their age group to make them feel like i acknowledge and respect them.

Explanation: In different age groups styles of communication are greatly different, and should be treated as such

From Christy's letter, what can the reader conclude about the Water for Life Campaign?(30 points)
enot [183]
Hey I'm from connections too :) You can conclude that the water for life campaign persuades the water department services to provide cleaner water. This campaign is a good opportunity for students to be educated in water quality and the entire area benefits from this campaign because they will have healthier water.

You should probably add more to get full points but this is a good start :)

Which Middle English dialect was used in the writing of The Canterbury Tales?
Alex_Xolod [135]
Taking into consideration that the English language evolution timeline is divided in Old English (410-1150), Middle English (1150-1450), and Modern English (1450-present), we know undoubtedly that The Canterbury Tales was written in Middle English. In relation to the dialect, because Chaucer wanted everyone to be able to read and enjoy this story, he didn't use the language for the court (French), nor the language for the church (Latin). Instead, used the vernacular (plain and popular language) English that was spoken by everyone.
