Answer:

x = 55 - 2y

y = 70 - 3x

x = 17

y = 19

Step-by-step explanation:

let x = small box

y = large box

6x + 12y = 330

12x + 4y = 280

6x + 12y = 330

6x = 330 -12y

6x/6 = (330-12y)/6

x = 55 - 2y

12x + 4y = 280

4y = 280 -12x

4y/4 = (280 -12x)/4

y = 70 - 3x

small box cost:

x = 55 - 2y

x = 55 - 2(70-3x)

x = 55 -140 + 6x

x - 6x = -85

-5x = -85

x = 17

large box

y = 70 - 3x

y = 70 - 3(17)

y = 70 - 51

y = 19

CAN SOMEONE HELP? PLZZZZ AND THANK U!
Ivahew [28]

Answer:

4, 343

Step-by-step explanation:

numerator: 6-2=4; (4^2)^2=4^4;

denominator: 3+1=4; 4^3

thus, 4^4/4^3=4

numerator: (14-7)^9=7^9

denominator: ((3+4)^3)^2=(7^3)^2=7^6

thus, 7^9/7^6=7^(9-6)=7^3=343

A cylinder shown below has a volume of 300 pi cubic inches. What is its height?
velikii [3]

The volume of a cylinder depends on both the cylinder's height and its radius.
There are an infinite number of different cylinders, all with different dimensions,
that all have 300π inches³ of volume. In order to calculate either dimension of
a cylinder, both the volume and the other dimension must be known.

We sense a high probability that the picture described as "shown below"
tells the cylinder's radius.  Sadly, we have not been made privy to that
bit of information, leaving us out in the cold with no way to calculate the
cylinder's height.

Diana bought a package of water balloons for $0.30. Her friend bought 5 times as many packages. How much did her friend spend?
NISA [10]
$1.50 because you have to multiply $0.30 times the 5 and you get $1.50.
