Answer:

y = 6\sqrt{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

x^2 + z^2 = 29^2

x^2 = y^2 + 9^2

y^2 + 20^2 = z^2

29^2 - z^2 = y^2 + 81 (equating for x^2 from eqn 1 and 2)

substitute 3rd eqn in 4th

29^2 - (y^2 + 20^2) = y^2 + 81

841 - y^2 - 400 = y^2 + 81

441 = 2y^2 + 81

360 = 2y^2

y^2 = 180

y = \sqrt{180}

= \sqrt{36*5} \\

y = 6\sqrt{5}

Some people take the early retirement option at age 62. According to the Social Security Administration, if you retire at age 62
Vera_Pavlovna [14]

Answer:

$3900.

Step-by-step explanation:

If retirement is taken at the age of 67 years, income  = $1300 per month.

% Loss, if retirement taken at the age of 62 years = 25% per month

Loss in dollars per month if retirement taken at the age of 62 years = 25% of Monthly income if retirement is taken at the age of 67 years

\Rightarrow \dfrac{25}{100} \times 1300\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{1300}{4}\\\Rightarrow 325 \$

We know that there are 12 months in an year.

So, annual loss in total annual income over one year:

Loss in dollars per month \times 12 :

325 \times 12 = <em>3900$</em>

Solution: The venn diagram will be completed as shown in the given figure.

Explanation:

There are many types numbers. The set of numbers are defined below.

Complex Numbers: The complex are the addition of real and imaginative numbers. it is represented as a+bi, where a is a real number and b is an imaginary number.

Imaginary Numbers: The imaginary numbers are those numbers which are not real numbers. For example \sqrt{-2}.

Real Numbers: All numbers in the number system( fractional, roots, positive, negative, decimal, etc) are real numbers. For example 2.1 and 5 etc. Real numbers are categorized in two parts rational and irrational numbers.

1) Irrational numbers: The number which can't expressed in the form of  are called irrational numbers. For example \sqrt{2} and \sqrt{7} etc.

2)  Rational numbers: The number which can be expressed in the form of  are called irrational numbers. For example 5 and -5.2 etc. It is categorized in two parts fractional and integer numbers.

3)Integer numbers: The rational number which has no decimal value is called integer numbers. For example-8,-2, 0, 5,7 and 100 etc.

4) Whole Numbers: The set of all positive integers including 0 is called known as the set of whole numbers.
