There are several ways Tamerlane benefitted from the organization of empires before him and one such way was the <u>ease </u><u>of </u><u>administration</u><u>. </u>

Tamerlane:

  • Sought to restore Genghis Khan's Mongol empire
  • Conquered many empires such as the Ottomans, the Mamluks and the Delhi Sultanate
  • Founded the Timurid Empire

The Timurid empire was able to be administered more effectively by Tamerlane thanks to the already existing administrative structures that were founded by the empires that Tamerlane conquered.

In conclusion, the administrative arms set up by precious empires allowed for Tamerlane's empire to be better governed.
