EastWind [94]3 years ago

Answer:

“We are all searching for someone whose demons play well with ours.”

― Rea Frey

“I made constant deals with myself, as though these deals would culminate in some life-changing event: If there are five babies on the plane, it won’t crash. If I just say yes to this client, I’ll get into Forbes. If the light turns green when I count to three, I won’t complain for the rest of the day. If I don’t eat dessert today, I can have Mexican tomorrow.”

― Rea Frey, Not Her Daughter

“I’ve always been good at keeping secrets—other people’s secrets, friends’ secrets, family secrets, strangers’ secrets. But I’m even better at creating secrets. No one ever guesses them … even if I beg them to try.”

― Rea Frey

How do you use text evidence to support an interpretation of theme<br> in a story?
lbvjy [14]
You can use text evidence to back up what type of interpretation you have of a theme. Like the theme “Challenge’s can be overcome with hard work and patience” if your interpretation of the theme is that the theme Challenge’s can be overcome with hard work and patience means that when you have obstacles and challenges that you need to overcome. Having patience and being doing hard work can help you overcome your obstacles/challenges. Then you can give an example by using text evidence. There are plenty of other ways to use text evidence to support an interpretation of a theme as well.
