I think that you have forgot to divide at the end, like the first one would be 28 because you would divide by an estimate of 2

If Jack bought baseball cards and his brother took 30% of them what percent of the cards does Jack now have *
TiliK225 [7]
Well it would be 70% of them because Jack had 100% and 30% minus 100% is 70%

Suppose f is an exponential function and:
Nastasia [14]

Answer:  a) b= p(1 + r)^1 b) c= p(1 + r)^n c) d= p(1 + r)^m d) b^n=c

Step-by-step explanation:

Since f is an exponential function.

So, it is expressed as

f = p(1 + r)^

Here f is the present value

p is the initial value

r is the rate of growth per time period

t is the time period.

(a) b represents the 1-unit growth factor for f.

b= p(1 + r)^1

(b) c represents the n n-unit growth factor for f.

c= p(1 + r)^n

(c) d represents the m m-unit growth factor for f.

d= p(1 + r)^m

Write a formula that expresses c in terms of b.

Since

b=p(1+r)^1\\\\So,\\\\b=p(1+r)^{n\times \frac{1}{n}}\\\\b=(p(1+r)^n)^{\frac{1}{n}}\\\\b=c^{\frac{1}{n}}\\\\b^n=c

Hence, a) b= p(1 + r)^1 b) c= p(1 + r)^n c) d= p(1 + r)^m d) b^n=c

A complex number is a number that can be written in the form a + bi, where a and b are real numbers. In the complex number 4 + 2
IRISSAK [1]

Answer:

In the complex number 4 + 2i, 4 is the <em>real </em>part. In the complex number 4 + 2i, 2 is the <em>imaginary </em>part.

Step-by-step explanation:

The two parts of the complex number are called the <em>real</em> part and the <em>imaginary</em> part. The imaginary part is identified by its multiplier of <em>i</em>.

In the given number, the 2 is multiplied by i, so 2 is the imaginary part. The other part, 4, is the real part.

Algebra help - asymptotes
motikmotik

Find where the equation is undefined ( when the denominator is equal to 0.

Since they say x = 5, replace x in the equation see which ones equal o:

5-5 = 0

So we know the denominator has to be (x-5), this now narrows it down to the first two answers.

To find the horizontal asymptote, we need to look at an equation for a rational function: R(x) = ax^n / bx^m, where n is the degree of the numerator and m is the degree of the denominator.

In the equations given neither the numerator or denominators have an exponent ( neither are raised to a power)

so the degrees would be equal.

Since they are equal the horizontal asymptote is the y-intercept, which is given as -2.

This makes the first choice the correct answer.
