Answer:

B' (-1,-5)

Step-by-step explanation:

When it is reflected over the y-axis, the y coordinate stays the same but the x coordinate inverses. In this situation since the x in point B is a positive, the x in point B' will be a negative.

(-1,5)

since it’s being translated over the y axis the only coordinate that’s changing would be the x coordinate. when it’s translated over it would be the opposite to the original point. (positive original point would become a negative point after translated)
hope this helps!

How to tell if a triangle is obtuse acute or right based on side lengths?
tekilochka [14]

If a triangle is made up of side lengths a, b and c

Given that c is the longest side length of the triangle,

The Pythagorean theorem can be used to tell if the triangle is obtuse, acute or right

In an obtuse triangle,

a^2 + b^2 < c^2

In an acute triangle,

a^2 + b^2 > c^2

In a right angled triangle,

a^2 + b^2 = c^2
