Prosthetic limbs, electric wheelchairs, portable oxygen tanks, and computer speech are all ways that people can overcome disabilities.

Modern medicine, motorized and electric transportation, rockets, space suits, the crane, bulldozers, and even computers are all other ways we overcome our physical limits.

I hope this helps you! Have a great day! :)

Since we cannot see at night, I guess the electric light bulb is a pretty good technological advance.
Same with a car. Since we can only walk at 3 mph, with a car we can overcome this defect and travel a mile a minute with a car. That is a pretty good technological advance. And a telephone. now we can talk to people thousands of miles away, whereas before we could only talk with in a hundred feet or less.
Actually, the many technological advances we have made are moving toward a modern Garden of Eden. On Earth as it is in Heaven. If we can just get rid of Oblamma.

Each one of the following sentences contains a clause. In which sentence is the clause used as an adverb?
Softa [21]
The correct option is option “C”. “I do not mind fishing, as long as I don’t have to bait the hook” is the sentence in which the clause is used as an adverb. The options “A” and “D” cannot be the right answer since in both the cases the clause is modifying the subject and thus makes it an adjective. So these two options are obviously ruled out. In case of option “B” the clause is acting as a noun and so this option also gets cancelled out.
