Answer:

The victory of Union at Vicksburg is significant for the North because it helped the North to control the Mississippi River. The siege of Vicksburg occurred after the Battle of Gettysburg, also lost by the confederates (the South). Vicksburg is necessary for Union because it was a river port for the South, through which they were sending supplies in the West. By capturing Vicksburg, the North would isolate the Western rebel states like Taxes, Louisiana, and Arkansas from the South.

Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

From Central Asia, they spread into China in the 2nd century CE. These forms of Hinayana were later combined with Mahayana aspects that came through this same route from India, with the Mahayana eventually becoming the dominant form of Buddhism in China and most of Central Asia. The Chinese form of Mahayana later spread to Korea, Japan and Vietnam. Buddhism became prominent in merchant communities and then spread throughout the Mauryan empire through commercial connections and along trade routes. miss Akunina [59]

Answer:

He was practicing cultural relativism

Explanation:

Cultural relativism is an anthropological concept that tries to explain the relation of culture and socialization, in other words, it is the act to see different cultures without any pre-concept or ethnocentrism. This term was first studied by the anthropologist Franz Boas and understood as an important factor in human socialization.

When Luther experienced these situations, especially the religious rituals, he was trying to understand how those cultural aspects were important to create an identity for the people of that location. In many aspects, these experiences were important to create his notion about faith and religion. He understood how each culture, and each people on the planet, despite their differences, share the same respect to the other, to their faiths, and for what they care.
