Explanation:
To be sure that one branch does not become more powerful than the others, the Government has a system called checks and balances. Through this system, each branch is given power to check on the other two branches. The President has the power to veto a bill sent from Congress, which would stop it from becoming a law.

The west coast is easier to access, seen as it is right beside water. The water also makes it easier to transport goods, irrigate crops, and clean clothes/utensils. The interior is harder to get at because you would either have to use many materials building wagons, or travelling for much too long on foot or horseback.
