Can someone please answer this questions using the stories to include the evidences.
Alik [6]

Answer:

Many people don't pay attention to other people's feelings, because they don't understand why people feel that way, or they just don't care. It is quite important to pay attention to other's feelings because if you don't, then you can't relate to others, and it can affect the people around you and make them not care for your feelings. It can be very stressful trying to understand people sometimes.

First off, the reason it's so hard to understand people is because of how they show their emotions, like if they are angry, or sad. they can get really stressed out and take it out on others which causes confusion of why they do it. In the text it says, "We wear the mask that grins and lies, It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes." What this means is that people hide what they feel because they don't know if people will judge them, or not. This can lead to loneliness, and hurt, causing them to lash out and hurt their friends and family.

What were women attempting to do to Dan Cody? *
Rudiy27

Answer:

The women were trying to separate Dan Cody with his money.

Explanation:

F. Scott Fitzgerald's <em>The Great Gatsby</em> tells the story of a man's attempts at regaining the favor of his previous lover. Narrated by Nick Carraway, the plot revolves around the characters of East and West Egg in their zeal to maintain their social class and wealth, which is the most important heme of the story.

Dan Cody was one of the minor characters of the text. In Chapter 6, the narrator mentioned that Dan Cody was <em>"fifty years old then, a product of the Nevada  silver fields, of the Yukon, of every rush for metal since Seventy-five"</em>. And it was the moment when Jay Gatsby first encountered him. The narration continues about Cody, mentioning that the <em>"transactions in Montana copper that made  him many times a millionaire found him physically robust  but on the verge of soft-mindedness, and, suspecting this  an infinite number of women tried to separate him from  his money"</em>. This shows how Dan Cody was a rich man when Gatsby met him during his younger years.

"Echo by her talk contrived to detain the goddess till the nymphs made their escape. When Juno [Hera] discovered it, she passed
noname [10]

Answer:

A.  thought that silence is golden.

Explanation:

In this passage from Story of Echo and Narcissus, Echo faces the sentence of not being able to speak because of her constant talking and saying last word in conversations. The goddess Juno did not over talkative habit of Echo. Since it is a Greek myth, and myths represent the concerned culture's values, we can infer from this that Ancient Greek thought that silence is golden.

In Greek myth "Echo and Narcissus" is a tragic story of Echo and Narcissus. It is also found in Ovid's book of poetry (Metamorphoses). Echo is a nymph which annoys Juno (Hera) by detaining her by her talk when she (Juno) was searching for her husband who was amusing himself with the nymphs. When Juno discovers this, she passes sentence upon Echo that she will not be able to talk/speak, but she will only be able to utter last word of someone else's speech. The story next describes about Narcissus's indifference to Echo only because of her inability to speak. And later Narcissus too (unknowingly) falls in love of his own reflection in the story. The bodies of both Echo and Narcissus dissolve because of not finding the love from their beloved ones.

The options B and C are not relevant to this passage, nor to this story. Option D is totally incorrect because they did believe in their myths.
