How did roosevelt use the four freedoms speech and the atlantic charter to define the war for americans?
Deffense [45]
1) Four Freedoms Speech: This address given by Franklin D. Roosevelt talked about the different freedoms Americans enjoy. Along with this, he goes on to talk about how America is leading the way in ensuring that millions of people all over the world have these rights. This speech calls for nations aligned with the US to work together to accomplish this goal.

2) Atlantic Charter: This document created by FDR was focused on a post war society. Along with Winston Churchill, FDR discusses how they want a world in which people have the right to self government and the abandoning of colonial territories. Ultimately, this document serves as the basis for the United Nations, an organization meant to help keep international peace.
