a) CALCULATE the acceleration of a 300,000 kg jumbo jet, just before takeoff when the thrust of each of its 4 engines is 36,000
Zanzabum

Answer:

a) 0.12m/s^2

b)0.0511m/s

c)0.4258 seconds

Explanation:

a)

acceleration= \frac{36000}{300000}

= 0.12m/s^2

b) 184m/h

184/3600 = 0.0511m/s

c)

time = \frac{0.0511}{0.12}

Time = 0.4258 seconds

A sequence of pitches occurring one after another is perceived: A. horizontally B. vertically C. texturally D. mechanically
I am Lyosha [343]

Answer:

Option A is correct.

A sequence of pitches occurring one after the other is perceived horizontally.

Explanation:

This question belongs more to the field of music.

Pitch is a perceptual property of sounds that allows their ordering on a frequency-related scale.

A sequence of pitches is called Scales. A scale is a sequence of pitches, usually listed in increasing order, starting at some initial pitch called the tonic.

Although, pitches in single form are perceived in high and low form (vertical format), when pitches are arranged in sequences as scales occurring one after the other, they are perceived horizontally!

You cover the following displacements every day going to school: d1=50 m, E and d2=95 m, N. You do this for 12 minutes. a) What
Dovator [93]

The speeds and velcity will be 0.020 m/sec and 0.0149 m/sec.

What is speed?

Speed is defined as the rate of change of the distance or the height attained. it is a time-based quantity. it is denoted by u for the initial speed while V for the final speed. its si unit is m/sec.

Given data;

d1=50 m E

d2=95 m N
Time period,t = 12 min = 12 × 60 sec = 7200 sec

The displacement is the shortest distance found from the pythogorous theorem as;

Displacement = √[(50 )²+(95)²]

Displacement = 107.35 m

a)The speed is found as;

Speed = distance / time

Speed = 50 +95 / 7200

Speed = 0.020 m/sec

b)The velocity is found as;

Velocity = Displacement / time

Velocity = 107.35 / 7200

Velocity = 0.0149 m/sec

Hence the speed and the velcity will be 0.020 m/sec and 0.0149 m/sec.
