Alchen [17]

Answer:

6 Kolalas

Explanation:

The maximum number of koalas that can survive in the area is 6.

Each koala must eat 200 grams of leaves per day.

The trees in an area can provide a total of 1380 g of leaves per day.

The maximum number of koalas that can survive in this area would be the total amount of leaves production per day divided by the amount of leaves required by each koala per day.

Number of koala the area can support = 1380/200 = 6.9

Sheena wants to measure the volume of a ball that is 24 cm across. How should she set up her equation?
Semmy [17]
Given that Sheena's ball is a sphere, its volume can be obtained by using the formula: V_ball = (4/3)*pi*r^3, where, r is the radius of the sphere. Since the ball is 24 cm across, this means that the radius is half of the diameter which is equal to 12 cm. Thus, the volume of the ball is equal to 7238.2295 cm^2.

Answer:

Minerals can form in all geological environments, which allows them to have a wide range of chemical and physical conditions. Two forms of this are temperature and pressure. There are 4 main categories of mineral formations.   Igneous is where the minerals crystalize from a melt. Sedimentary is where the raw materials of the mineral are particles from other rocks that have suffered from erosion and weathering. Metamorphic is where new minerals are created from earlier ones owing to the effects of change. Most of the time it's from increasing temperature and/or pressure. Hydrothermal is where the minerals are chemically precipitated from hot solutions in the earth.
