The formula of area is length x width
so if the area is already found , 54 divided by 9 is 6.
The other side of the rectangle is 6 units
for a picture you can just draw a rectangle and label the side 9 and 6 units lol

What is y greater Than or equal to 1/3x-2
KiRa [710]

Answer:

The given equation is

⇒y≥\frac{1}{3x-2}

As domain of the function is 3 x-2≠0

             x≠2/3

⇒For different values of x we get different values of y.

When,  x>2/3 , we get positive values of y.

So , y≥ 0

and  when x< 2/3 , we get values of y which are negative.

i.e y≤0

At x=2/3, function is not defined.So at that point there does not exist any value of y.

Brrunno [24]

Answer:

<h3>x = 3/2 ± √(61/20)</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

5x² - 15x - 4 = 0

Add 4 to both sides.

5x² - 15x = 4

The coefficient of 5x² is 5, divide both sides by 5.

x² - 3x = 4/5

The coefficient of -3x is -3. Let b=-3.

Then we need to add (b/2)^2=9/4 to both sides to complete the square.

Add 9/4 to both sides.

x² - 3x + 9/4 = 61/20

Factor left side.

(x-3/2)² = 61/20

Take square root of both sides.

x-3/2 = ± √(61/20)

Add 3/2 to both sides.

x = 3/2 ± √(61/20)
