A decision by the University of Education that could affect a student would be a sudden change in the curriculum of a certain course, with the inclusion of more requirements that were not foreseen.

In order to have a better judgment about the need for this decision to involve students in the decision, it is better to have a greater understanding of some concepts.

Vroom's decision tree approach

This approach aims to establish the amount of participation that subordinates should have in decisions related to the organization. Vroom's decision tree uses the objective path to identify the different leadership styles that should be taken according to the current situation.

That is, according to the theory, the same leader can establish different leadership styles according to organizational needs.

Therefore, it is essential that the University seeks a consensus through a democratic leadership style that generates the participation of involved and affected parties, to generate greater transparency and adherence to changes.
